If you are having technical difficulties, you might need to test assets so that the problem can be narrowed down and fixed. This will allow us to determine if the problem you are experiencing is related to Wi-Fi, a firewall, software, etc. This should be completed on both the administrator and student devices.
First, you will go to this link: https://multitudes.ucsf.edu/test-assets/
This is what you should see once you the website loads
The first set of assets are images that the students and administrator will see a different points during the screener.
If you discover at the beginning or at any other point during the asset test that you need to zoom out, there are instructions on the bottom right of the page.
The next two parts are video and audio tests. You will need to press play in both languages and watch/listen until the end to make sure that you are not experiencing audio or video problems. If the audio works well when you play the videos, you still need to listen to the audio clips.
The last section is testing the drag and drop feature in Spelling. You will need to drag letters into the answer box and press the blue arrow button. Once you press that button, the Spelling drag and drop test should reset
If all of this works but you are still having difficulties, please reach out to us using the "Submit a Request" button on our help desk.
If any of this does not work you can work through our tech checklist to make sure your device and browser are ready to use the platform.
If the tech checklist does not fix the issue you are having, please take a screenshot and send it to us with a description of the problem you are experiencing using the "Submit a Request" button on our help desk.
