Safari
Open Safari and click on the Safari button in the top toolbar. Then click on Clear History.
Then click on the drop-down menu on the window that pops up.
Choose All History
Then click Clear History
Chrome
Clearing History on Chrome when using a laptop is done in the same way regardless of operating system.
Open Safari and click on the Safari button in the top toolbar. Then click on Delete Browsing Data.
Check all boxes to clear Browsing Date, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files then click on the Time Range drop down menu.
In the drop-down menu, click on All Time
Finally, click on Delete Data.
iPad OS
Start in your Settings app
On the right side, find the browser app you are using (either Safari or Chrome) and find the option that says Clear History and Website Data on the right. If it is blue, you need to clear your history but if it is grey, it has already been cleared.
Click on All History then Clear History
