School Admins in Multitudes have access to powerful tools for managing staff accounts, viewing aggregated data, and exporting data on their own. These features let School Admins manage non-rostered educators, assign staff to classrooms, and upload roster data via CSV.
Reminder: School Admin account setup begins on August 11th, 2025.
Do you need School Admin account access? Please reach out to your School Success representative or submit a request here.
School Admins can have access to one or many schools, please work with your School Success representative to ensure your School Admins have access to the right school(s).
1. Manage Educator Accounts (Non-Rostered Staff)
School Admins can create accounts for educators who are not included in automated rostering (e.g., interventionists, substitute teachers, instructional aides, or others supporting Multitudes screening).
Before You Begin
If your school uses non-classroom teachers to administer UCSF Multitudes this year, start preparing a list of who needs access and which classrooms they should be mapped to.
Note: Classroom teachers are automatically mapped to their classrooms through rostering (Clever, ClassLink, or CSV).
What You Can Do as a School Admin
Create educator accounts: Add educators or support staff by entering their first name, last name, and email address. New users automatically receive an email to set up their password.
Assign educators to classrooms: Link educators to one or more classrooms so they can run assessments, view student results, and access the training resources.
View and edit users: See all educators in your school, update their details, and change classroom assignments.
Remove classroom assignments: Quickly unassign educators who change roles or no longer need access.
Aggregated data views: School Admins have to Screening Progress and Screening Results tabs which include aggregated data view to help you keep a bird's eye view of your school(s) screening activities and results.
Self serve data exports: School Admins have access to the "Export" tab, here you can export a .csv of your school(s) screening data with customizable selections for which schools, classes, students, and date ranges you need to export.
2. Upload Rosters (CSV Option)
For schools not using Clever or ClassLink, Multitudes allows School Admins to upload rosters via a CSV file, importing both students and staff at once. Please review this article for more information on CSV rostering.
