Choose the Students
In "Step 1: Choose Students" you can create reports for an individual student, a class, a grade, your whole school, or multi-select a combination of students, classes, or grades, or schools based on your reporting needs.
Choose What's Included in Your Report
In "Step 2: Choose What to Include," select the information parents and guardians will see in their child’s report. Your choices will apply to everyone in your selected group, and you can customize each report in five different ways.
Student Identifiers
Controls which student ID/identifier(s) appear at the bottom of each page in a student's report.
- SIS ID – The student's district ID.
- CALPADS SSID – The student's California Statewide Student Identifier.
- Multitudes Study ID – The student's unique ID generated in the Multitudes platform.
Note: If your school does not use CALPADS or an SIS as a student ID, we recommend selecting only the Multitudes Study ID to ensure every student is uniquely identified.
Assessment(s)
Controls which types of assessment tasks might be shown on each report.
- Universal Screener Results Only – Includes universal screener task results only.
- Universal Screener Results + Any Additional Results – Includes all task level results completed or attempted by the student
Note: Tasks completed in languages other than English or Spanish (e.g. Narrative Story Production or Semantic Mapping) appear only in the educator results view and are excluded from parent reports.
Assessment Language(s)
Controls which language(s) of the selected assessment tasks above might be included in each report.
- Results for Assessments in All Languages (Recommended) – Includes any available results for any language the student was assessed in (English and/or Spanish). Reports will not be generated for languages in which a student was not tested.
- Results for English Assessments Only – Includes only English assessment results.
- Results for Spanish Assessments Only – Includes only Spanish assessment results.
Important: Selecting English Assessments Only or Spanish Assessments Only filters your export strictly by that language. If a student was assessed in both languages, their results for the unselected language will not be exported. Similarly, if a student was not tested in the selected language, no report will be generated.
Report Language(s)
Controls the language used for all text in the report. For families who need to read their student’s results in a language other than English or Spanish, translated copies are available on the Multitudes Resource Parent/Guardian Letters card.
- Written in English – All written content on the report will be written in English.
- Written in Spanish – All written content on the report will be written in Spanish.
Important: Selecting Both English & Spanish gives every student two copies of their assessment results, one translated into English and one translated into Spanish. This will double the number of pages in your final export.
Historical Results
Controls whether screening statuses from previous school years are shown.
- Don't Include – Includes current year results only.
- Include – Includes the student’s Universal Screener status from the previous school year.
Tip: Before moving to the next step, click Preview Sample Report to see exactly how your selected options could appear on a student's report before proceeding.
Choose How to Download Reports
Choose how you'd like to download your Parent Reports.
One file per student: Download a ZIP file with a separate PDF for each student.
All students in one file: Download a single PDF with all selected students.
Multitudes provides a default file name based on the download type you choose. You can customize it by adding or removing available labels or changing their order.
For individual files, each file name must include a unique student identifier, such as first and last name or Student ID.
Note: If two or more students share a first and/or last name, include a Student ID so each file has a unique name.
Export Data
When you're ready, select Export Data. Your reports will be available in Export History once the export is complete!
